This series of work is a collection of pressure-prints revolving around the absurd lives of Rabbit and Scissors. In a world where the strange is accepted and where human logic cannot apply, Rabbit and Scissors navigate this world in a manner we cannot understand. With no formal introduction to the culture and standard of this world, we must rely on the two to be our guilds.
A big emphasis for the logic or lack thereof in this world is approaching the world from the perspective of a child. The abnormal interpretations of this world can come across as uncomfortable to older audiences. A child draws a horrifying caricature of their friend, who somehow has 40 fingers and a thousand teeth. We see a monster. The child see's another child. This body of works plays between that discomfort with these characters.
No matter the context which shifts and changes, the world remains revolving around Rabbit and Scissors.
